Class 11 recently enjoyed an exciting and rewarding visit to the Nissan Sports and Leisure Complex in Sunderland, where they took part in a fantastic VEX GO Robotics session.
Throughout the day, pupils had the opportunity to get hands-on with robotics by building, coding, and driving their own creations. Working collaboratively in teams, they tackled a variety of fun and engaging challenges, developing both their technical skills and confidence along the way.
The session also provided a valuable introduction to key engineering principles, encouraging students to think like engineers as they designed, tested, and improved their models. This hands-on experience helped them understand how engineering plays a crucial role in problem-solving and innovation.
The day encouraged creativity, teamwork, and resilience, with students supporting one another and celebrating their achievements together. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, cooperation, and determination from everyone involved.
Overall, it was a brilliant experience filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of robotic adventures.
