Drop off and Pick up

We recognise the beginning and end of the school day can be busy, so we encourage families to walk or cycle where they can. Gates open at 8:45 a.m. on both sites. The infant school day starts at 8:50 a.m., and the junior school starts at 8:55 a.m. Pick‑up is at 3:20 p.m. for infants and 3:25 p.m. for juniors.

Parking

If you need to drive your child to school, please be mindful of our local residents by avoiding yellow lines and private driveways. Parents/carers can use the junior school car park on Conyers Avenue before and after school, please ensure to park within the marked bays so no one gets blocked in. The infant school car park is for staff only and is usually very full. We really appreciate your support in keeping everyone safe by following these guidelines.

Late arrivals

If children arrive late to school, they should enter via the main entrance accompanied by an adult. Entrance through the main offices allows us to register them and ensure they are accounted for and safe.

End of the Day

Children exit the buildings onto the school playgrounds, where staff are on duty to support a safe collection. If unforeseen circumstances mean you are unable to collect your child or will be late, please contact the school office as soon as possible so we can inform your child. Children are encouraged to wait with the duty staff if they are unsure of their arrangements.

Bicycle Shed

We have a bike shed at both the infant and junior sites for storing bikes and scooters during the school day. Cycle training opportunities are provided for children in Key Stage 2, and we participate in a range of cycling events throughout the year, including Bike to School breakfasts and Learn to Ride sessions. We strongly promote the use of cycle helmets for children and adults travelling to and from school.

Sustainable Transport

Wherever possible, we encourage children to walk or cycle to school to help promote fitness and reduce congestion around the school. Throughout the year, we hold a variety of events aimed at supporting healthy lifestyles and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly transport.
