Year 6 Pupils Gear Up for Greenpower Racing Challenge

Some of our fantastic Year 6 pupils have been getting hands-on with an exciting and inspiring project, building their very own race cars from the ground up. Working alongside skilled engineers from Cummins, they have been learning new practical skills while gaining a real insight into the world of engineering.

Throughout the project, the pupils have been exploring how different components come together to create a functioning vehicle, all while developing their teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills. With guidance from industry professionals, they are seeing first-hand how ideas are transformed into reality.

The Greenpower Racing challenge gives them the unique opportunity to be involved in every stage of the journey, from the initial build right through to the excitement of race day. It has sparked curiosity, encouraged creativity, and helped build confidence in a fun and engaging way.

As the project progresses, excitement continues to grow, and we are incredibly proud of everything the pupils have achieved so far. We look forward to seeing their completed race cars and cheering them on when they take to the track.
