Year 6 Boys Take Centre Stage at Darlington Dance Festival

A huge well done to our talented Year 6 all‑boy dance group, who recently performed at the annual Primary Schools Dance Festival at the Darlington Hippodrome.

Taking to the stage with confidence and enthusiasm, the boys delivered an outstanding performance as part of this year’s theme, “A Celebration of Dance Styles.” Their routine showcased a wide range of movement and creativity, developed through weeks of practice.

Throughout the performance, the boys clearly enjoyed the experience of performing in a professional theatre setting. Their confidence grew with every moment on stage, resulting in a routine that captivated the audience and reflected the high standards they set for themselves.

The group represented Mowden with great pride and should be extremely proud of their achievement. At Mowden, we believe that personal development is a vital part of every pupil’s journey. Opportunities such as this, which take place beyond the classroom, play an important role in helping children build confidence, explore their talents, and develop life skills that will support them both now and in the future.
