Beyond the Classroom

At Mowden, all pupils have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities beyond the classroom, as well as through the curriculum. From educational visits and sporting opportunities to musical performances and leadership roles, our personal development offer helps children deepen their knowledge, build new skills, and grow in confidence. At the heart of this offer is a collection of activities, projects, and responsibilities designed to enrich learning and support pupils’ wider development. By taking part, children can try something new, gain valuable experiences, make new friends, and develop the skills they need to succeed, not only in their next phase of education but throughout their lives.

Above all, we want our children to feel a strong sense of belonging, to believe in themselves, and to become the best they can be.
